Book Review – eat that frog

Eat that Frog by Brian Tracy! πŸΈπŸ“–

In my opinion this book is a productivity Bible! πŸ’―

Even though it just has about 150 pages, there is so much practical advice in it. It’s no-bullshit, straight to the point tips!

Well, you might say the concept of “eating frogs” is so simple and nothing life-changing…

I agree, it is simple. But just because it is simple, doesn’t mean it’s not powerful!

In fact most powerful tips or tricks are actually very simple. The thing is that we’re constantly looking for a secret or magic formula, because we can’t believe that anything in life is simple.

The key to success is implementation and mastery. πŸ—

Become a master at eating frogs, and it’ll absolutely be life-changing.

Here are a few things that I found important about applying the “Eat That Frog” principle:

πŸ”‘Eating the Frog just means completing your biggest, most daunting task, first! However you structure your day, this can be first thing in the morning or first thing when you arrive at work,…

πŸ”‘ It doesn’t have to be something you hate doing. It can also just be the task that’ll bring the biggest progress.

πŸ”‘ Plan your Frog the day before. When you get to work, it has to be clear what you have to do!

πŸ”‘ Be honest in your prioritization and don’t fool yourself by choosing the “wrong” Frog.

πŸ”‘ Set yourself up for success by also preparing the resources you need to complete the task.
